Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown has been fined $35,000 for ‘aggressively pursuing’ an NBA official on Sunday.
Throughout Sacramento’s tight-knit defeat to the Brooklyn Nets, Brown was discovered to have aggressively pursued referee Scott Twardoski after officers missed what the pinnacle coach believed to be a foul on guard Colby Jones.
Surprisingly, Brown was not ejected following the incident – however as a substitute assessed a technical foul. On Tuesday it was introduced that the league have been slapping Brown with a $35k fantastic for his actions.

An announcement from the NBA learn:
“Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown has been fined $35,000 for aggressively pursuing a sport official throughout stay play, it was introduced as we speak by Joe Dumars, Govt Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.

This isn’t the primary time Brown has been hit with a monetary penalty for his actions in the direction of a referee. Final season, he was fined $50,000 for the same incident when he believed a no-call towards De’Aaron Fox was unjust.
The Kings went on to lose that sport towards the Milwaukee Bucks in extra time and Brown introduced a laptop computer to his postgame press convention to show his frustration over the missed calls, questioning the usual and consistency of the officiating.
