MANILA, Philippines — Parts of the Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) will endure reblocking and repairs this weekend, which can trigger site visitors congestion in some areas.
The Metropolitan Manila Growth Authority (MMDA) stated in an advisory that the Division of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) began highway works on Friday evening and can finish at 5 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20.

The MMDA stated the DPWH Exercise will have an effect on the next segments on Edsa:
- Edsa southbound, Quezon Metropolis, West Avenue to MRT North Avenue Station (4th lane from middle)
- Edsa southbound, Quezon Metropolis, Bansalangin Road to West Avenue (4th lane from middle)

The MMDA suggested motorists to take various routes whereas the reblocking and repairs are ongoing on the affected sections of Edsa.
