Yuzvendra Chahal has joined the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for a whopping Rs 18 crore at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction.

Star leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is the leading wicket-taker in the history of the Indian Premier League. Hailing from Haryana, the 34-year-old has played for the Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Rajasthan Royals in the cash-rich tournament and picked up 205 wickets in 160 games at an economy of 7.84.
Chahal represented the Rajasthan Royals in the last three editions of the competition, picking up 66 wickets and being one of their biggest match-winners. With 27 wickets to his name, Chahal was also the Purple Cap winner in the 2022 edition of the IPL.Â
